The generosity, enthusiasm and motivation of Bob and Rosemary Blazier to foster and encourage others to step up, dive in and sign on to efforts that help the community cannot be overstated. The Blazier impact on Crystal Lake can be felt in areas too numerous to mention. From the early 1960’s when these newlyweds joined our community, the impact of this civic minded couple has left an indelible mark.
The Blazier’s have had an effect on the character, development and behavior of hundreds and thousands of Crystal Lake citizens. They have left a legacy of generosity for generations to come. It is because of that effect, the Crystal Lake Chamber Foundation is proud to announce the campaign to rename the Crystal Lake Pump House located in McCormick Park to the
Blazier Center for Community, Leadership and Commerce.
Be part of the legacy! You too can honor Bob & Rosemary Blazier by recognizing their numerous contributions to the Crystal Lake Community. In connection with the Crystal Lake Chamber’s 75th Anniversary Celebration we are challenging you to donate $75 to the Friends of the Blaziers campaign. Funds will be used for scholarships, programing, and to support the work of the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce.
We hope we can count on your support. Help us give back to the couple who have left a legacy of generosity.
